This bass is in great condition for its age. The scroll/pegbox had a repair done at some point and has held up with no issues. It has been upgraded with a new adjustable bridge, fingerboard plane and Ulsa endpin. Typical of early year Kays, this one has a big, rich sound. The bass has had the same owner since the early 1970s and was played at the Ryman / Grand Old Opry for many years. $5000
